WELCOME TO LONGSHOT ONLINE!
The website dedicated to London's best rock band

FREE gig this Saturday (July 5)

Longshot are ready to rock again after a six week absence from the live music scene with a free show at their local boozer.

The lads will take to the stage at the Royston Arms pub, Chingford Mount Road, Chingford, on Saturday July 5.

They will be supported by local band The Echo and are planning a special cover song to finish the night off.

We hope you can all make it. See you at the rock show.

Second music video to be shot early next month

The band will shoot a second music video early next month to promote their upcoming new CD release Stale Bread EP.

The tracks are all recorded now and the lads will be working with a talented filmmaker called Calum to capture the band in full rocking flow for the promo to support the Autumn release.

Live gig video to come this Autumn

Longshot are to record a live video of their upcoming gig at Nambucca and will be making clips free to download from this website.

The band hopes to put together a top quality vid of one of their shows so that people who have always wanted to see the band in all its glory but live abroad or too far away can see Longshot in action.

The gig at north London’s Nambucca venue in August is the planned date and we will have a full audio and video crew on hand to film the night.

Anyone wishing to get in on the filming should put that date in their diary as it’ll be a great night with some real big upcoming bands on the bill.

Bunker gears up for Longshot music video.

The lads have just come back energised from a location scouting visit to the Secret Nuclear Bunker, Chipping Ongar, where they are in negotiations to record their first ever music video.

The band, accompanied by staff from filming firm Lets Do Media, spent several hours on Saturday looking around the former military bunker which now stands as a museum to the British Government’s Cold War preparations.

It is an ideal backdrop for the band’s first promo vid and the lads came away very impressed and full of ideas on having a tongue-in-cheek storyline running through the movie as well as a cool performance piece throughout.

More as we get it.
